Why do Gay men wear feminine accessories?

Some of my college buddies are gay men. It is perfectly ok to be one. But, sometimes I notice them wearing not only feminine clothes but accessories too. I found it to be very strange. Wearing a long ear ring or light lipstick is not that cool. I mean, why they do it?

Why don't you ask them? Not all gay men do this. Maybe those particular men are trans/genderqueer, etc. Not everybody chooses to let themselves be defined by their genitalia.
By the way, fashion is a societal thing. The stuff you call fem today (high heels, blouses, tights, etc.) were common fashion for men. Men have also been wearing earrings for a lot longer than women have. Make up was also not just a thing for females to wear.
People should be able to wear what they choose, not what society decides for them.

@mythociate We didn't advance as far as we didn't by worrying about things like that. Somebody needs to take risks for all of us to improve.

Because ,they want to attract another guy.and make the straight become a new gay .so here are more and more gay in the world. When the gay's number is more than the straights ,the straights will be discriminated! haha
