Yes I've read every book, and watched every film. I can't wait for the 7th book to be published. JK Rowling is extremely talented. I suppose you either like him or you don't. I love reading fantasy and magic and these books are ideal for kids and adults. Although some of the films are more for adults. I preferred the first film because it was unusual and you didn't know quite what to expect. The books do get darker and darker and there is a lot of black magic which I'm not sure is ideal for kids.

The films are OK but I haven't really been bothered by the books. I read a few chapters to my daughter and wife when we were on holiday last year but that was it.

No, I personally do not care for Harry Potter. I do know many people that love the books and the movies though. They rave about them. They just aren't my cup of tea.
