At what age did your child first start to walk?

i don't have a child yet but i hope he'll be a genuis

when he was nine months old.

My baby is 11 months old.she started to walk with support from her 8 months.Without support and to some distance from her ninth month.Now she has started to run and it is a really a tough time for me to run behind her

My oldest daughter started walking at 14 months. My son took his first steps at 9 1/2 months and was walking by 10 1/2 months. My middle daughter started walking 2 days after she turned 1. My youngest daughter is 7 1/2 months and hasn't tried to take her first steps yet. She does pull up on the furniture to stand.

My daugther started walking at 15 months, my is only 2 months so of course he has not started walking.

My first child a boy started at 9mths. My daughter started at 7mths. My third child a boy started around 13mths. My baby girl is 8mths and walking holding on to furniture.

my son took his first steps when he was 10 months old. He holds on to stuff as he walks though. He is a year old on wednesday. This past couple weeks he has been getting brave enough to walk without holding anything.

All my children started at 1 year of age. My first born started exactly 1 year and a week to the day. I'll never forget it. I was so excited. =)
