Finally got around to uploading a photo

After being somewhat active for the last few days, I realized I needed to change that little green guy to something that members who I knew before will recognize. In this photo is Ciara and Penny. my beagle/border collies. I love this picture because it looks like they are waiting in line to get petted.
For those who don't know my dogs, Penny is the one in the background. Her coat is shorter, like a beagle's and she is the hyper, in your face, dog. Ciara, on the other hand is the opposite. Those this picture was taken shortly after she had her fur shaved for the summer, she actually has long hair like a border collie. She is also very laid back and slow, but only physically...Why do I say that? Because as much as I love Penny, she isn't that bright. For the last few weeks I have been working with both dogs to teach them to dance. I am starting with twirl and Ciara already knows the turn clockwise and has almost perfected counterclockwise. Penny...well she will turn, but only if I have a treat and only if I slowly move my hand for her to follow. That is how they start out, but with Ciara, she turns at a flick of the wrist.
Maybe later I will have a video to share to show how smart Ciara is. In the meantime, if there is anyone here who has any experience in teaching a dog dance steps, I can use any tips you may have.

Really? Do you have any tips? I saved a variety of youtube videos, that is how I learned how to teach the twirl. I also tried weaving through my legs, but either she isn't ready yet, or I need to find another way to teach her, or it is more difficult (after all, she is to go through the legs and as a bigger dog, a good chance of getting stepped on) for her.

@Carmelanirel2 Sorry, I have no tips. She's the first dog I've ever tried this with.

@sacmom Ok, then how are you doing it? Are you watching videos like I am and do you know what you will start with?

I am a little more fortunate because I was active here for about 7 years before the layout changed and members began to disappear. Despite being absent for a few years now I can still remember how to upload an image and set an animated avatar.
My original avatar was still here when I returned, so I have just resized an animation to upload and changed it.

I was also here for 7 years and we part of the group that left. However I also removed my account because I never thought I would be back. I remember resizing photos, but the reason I didn't add a photo wasn't because I forgot how, but I didn't think about it until I got sick of looking at the default avatar.

It is fun to be moving back "home" to MyLot and to be fitting our profiles out like we want them.

@GardenGerty We don't have profiles where we can put a layout (or background) in, do we? But that's okay, I am slowly getting use to the site and the only thing I will miss are some friends and I better not bring that up because I have tears forming in the back of my eyes by just remembering.
