Remember when?

I used an image similar to this on MyLot for my profile. Do you remember that? I took this image this weekend at the car show. The scenery has changed. The trees I was focusing on have grown much larger.
Sometimes when we frame our perspective of something through a type of looking glass or lens we get more focused on what lies ahead.
Five years ago, or even two years ago, I would not have seen myself taking the road I am taking now. We never know what the future holds.

I recently picked up a book for myself. It is a journal style book called "Q&A A Day, 365 Questions, 5 years, 1,825 answers" Everyday there is a question that you write a short answer to. Some are funny "what's in your fridge?" and some are deeper "How could today have been better?" Each day for five years you answer one question. But each date's question is the same each year... so after five years you will be able to look back at ways you've changed and ways that you have remained the same.
When I got it, I wondered what I would think of me when I look back. Will I like the way my answers change or will I have grown into more the person I want to be or how will life change?
Two years ago, I was a different person because life events, namely a few deaths and my son's operation, changed me. We never know what life will do and what we will do with it.

That would be a neat book I think. I wonder if I would have the discipline to complete it.

I don't really remember that image, but I do remember MyLot when it was great. As it will be again. I have been through many changes myself in the last 2 to 3 years now. Things have canned a lot for me. I will try and share some of them here.

@GardenGerty I ti nice to see old friends coming back here. I have a feeling that MyLot is going to be a force to be reckoned with. Bubblews and Persona Paper might have to be careful now.

Haven't been in myLot in awhile and I guess it is from all the drinking that I do that I can't remember the photo.
Agree with you that we do not know what the future holds. The next best thing is that we prepare for the future or we create our own futures. Easier said than done, I know...

It may be that the image meant more to me than it did to anyone else. I often thought I would like to print and frame it and use it with a portrait type photo.
