Do You Still Read Or Buy Newspapers?

Because of the internet and television with cable channels, I do not usually buy or read newspapers anymore. It is more convenient for me to get the news from the internet. I could not remember anymore the last time I read from a paper. I guess it is only during a time when I go visit a doctor and while waiting, I get to read the papers. Do you still buy newspapers? Where do you get your news?

I seldom grab a newspaper these days mainly because I can read the news from the internet and yeah, my eyes are not that good that I could barely read the letter on a newspaper other than the title of the article. LOL

Reading a newspaper early in the morning with hot tea for company is a different experience altogether although as you said we have access to updated news on tv and the Net. We have two.

I do get most news from online now, but my husband still subscribes to the Wall Street Journal, and he often wants me to read articles from it that he found interesting. I still prefer reading a paper edition. I miss the comics. I really don't like reading on a computer.

That is a good preference and its all right then to read papers rather than on screen.

I don't buy newspapers anymore...price went up and not much to read..all it was doing was helping my recycle bin, so now if i don't watch the news on TV i just hear from others..

Newspapers, what are those? LOL. I haven't read a newspaper in a long time now. I get my Daily News delivered right to my inbox. And it is way easy. I can read it on my phone, my tablet and my computer. And I sometimes watch the news.

I can't even remember when I last bought a newspaper, it must have been a couple of years ago. I get all my news from Internet and television. Sometimes I feel a little nostalgic about reading newspapers, but then I say to myself that less printed journals means less trees are cut and my slight nostalgia vanishes!

Yes we get a newspaper delivered everyday but reading it everyday is not my cup of tea. Sometimes i fill crosswords in that. Sometimes i thought why are we paying for the newspaper when none of us is interested in reading that. But i know the day we stop getting the newspaper is going to be the day when i wanted to read it the most.
