This is my first proper day here. I have no idea how things will pan out but just giving it a go, testing the water, see what happens. I guess we're all in the same boat pulling against the tide? I wonder how many are on laptops, how many using mobile apps and what not? Writing as you go, on the hoof, seems to be on the increase? Don't think I'll ever be able to master that particular skill!!!

Writing on the go. That could be dangerous. LOL. I am laying in bed with my laptop right now. I am under my goal and so am trying to make it up.

Welcome to MyLot! I hope that you don't feel like it's a lot of hard work. Rather than 'pulling against the tide' you should be 'going with the flow' (putting your oar in once in a while). A new website is always a little strange and unfamiliar at times. Until the site puts up an official 'Getting Started' guide, you may find this one, which I wrote some time ago, will be helpful. There are several things which now need amending but much of it is still valid:

Hey, welcome! Glad to see you've found a new space. I generally write from my desktop, I don't find the site to be very mobile-friendly at the moment. This is a good site. I have been paid twice so far. And there are not minimum word counts, etc. Plus, you will find a lot of your B friends here. Looking forward to your clever and interesting posts.
