A couple of times a year our local businesses have the radio station auction off gift certificates for their wares at discounted prices. It is a neat way to get some discounts on things like tires or meals at restaurants or even memberships to the YMCA. That is what is going on today. I am always too broke to buy, or like this year, I feel I need to spend my money on something else. This year it is moving. Do you ever participate in things like that? One year, back before cell phones I got a home phone that had a hold button and played "Home On the Range." It was a desk phone. Anyone remember those?
