That's marvelous. At the end of the day men are supposed to be the world's best tailors. I know knitting but when I make a mistake and that's the end. In other words I have never completed anything so far

I both knit and crochet. That is my hobby, and it gives me somthing to do when I am not on my computer. Right now, I am doing a project of making socks with double pointed needles. this is the first pair with those needles, as I am used to using only tow needles. I have also loom knitted socks, abut wanted to try needle knitting again. I hope that my socks come out okay, but i do have youtube videos I can watch as double pointed needle knitting can be confusing.

I can barely knit. I did learn when I was small, and also Granny taught us the crochet. Sadly, that was the only time I did it.
I would love to though. I had a look at your awesome shop Kevin. You have some definitely lovely items!
Hope your shop is doing well for you too.

I learned to knit about 30 years ago and it is one of my hobbies. The last thing I knitted was a large blanket. It took me a lot of time to finish the blanket, but I enjoyed making it. I want to make another one, but I just moved and most my things are still in boxes. I can't find my knitting needles and my yarn, but when I unpack I will be able to knit again.

Awesome! I do not know how to knit. Maybe because I live in a tropical country and there are no winters there.. lol almost no winters. Necessity wasn't there and she didn't teach me stuff.
My mother used to knit and crochet so she supplied all the baby boots and warm clothes for my babies.

Thank you, I guess many people don't know how to knit, I was lucky my Gan and my mum knitted and I picked it up easy. I've crochet when I was young but can't remember much of it now.

@kevin1877uk I wonder how many men can knit? I am sure that there will be just a handful. You not only knit but knit and sell online.. you surprised me!

That's pretty awesome!
My grandmother taught me to knit when I was a kid, but I haven't done it in years. I bought a set of knitting needles at the thrift store down the street last week, though. I'm hoping I can pick it up again without too much trouble since my 5-year-old is begging me to teach her how to do it, too.
Maybe I should just sign us both up for a class at the craft store...
