As many of you are already aware, there is a bug in the messaging system. As you also know, it doesn't seem to be a problem that everyone is experiencing. It is an issue that is being worked on.
In an effort to help this along, I am trying to build a database of members who are having this issue. I am trying to build a comprehensive list of members with this issue, their operating systems and browsers, as well as other seemingly trivial information that may help.
If you are having this problem, even if you have already told me, could you please reply to this post with your information, as well as an estimated signup date and any add-ons you may be using. If you are able to message some but not others and know for certain that you have not blocked each other, that information may also be useful.
This post is only for the message bug and people experiencing it. It will be easier for me to gather the information if I don't have to sort through other, unrelated replies. Thank you

Oh great idea. Here is my info once again: I use Chrome, with Windows 7. I signed up approximately 2 months ago. I posted my 1st post on July 18th, but only became truly active on Aug. 10th. I have a pop up blocked, but doubt that is the problem. Cause I have been able to get 2 messages, 1 from 2 different old timers to the site.

It seems I am able to send a message but no one is getting them. I am Chrome Browser.

This seems to the the case with most. I will bet that if you go back to your message section, the messages you thought you sent will have vanished. The only other thing I need is what operating system and a rough guess on what month and year you joined.

@GoAskAlice Operating system is Chrome (chromebook) is that what you mean? There is no Windows of course.
Month and year I joined was the month and year that the old myLot ceased and this website started. I created a new account on this site instead of using my old one from the old myLot site. Hope that clarifies something.

Here is my info I use Chrome windows 8 I recd a message from@goaskalice but from none of the others who sent me.. Nor have they been able to receive the messages I sent them.. including goaskalice.
I joined the site around 11th of August.Please let me know if you need any more information.

There have been a couple of to and fro messages. However since I did not receive replies to a few I am not sure if they have not replied or have not received my messages.
I have windows 7 and I use chrome

When you go to your message section, are those messages you sent still there? Or do they seem to have disappeared?

Is this for a pm or messages from MyLot itself? If it is a pm, I sent one, but I don't know if she got it or not. I never heard back so I just figured she hadn't checked in.
If it is messages from MyLot, sometimes I get one for a reply and sometimes not.

@Gwensmom If you go back to your message section and the message you sent is still showing, then it was sent. If it seems to have disappeared, then it was not sent and you most likely are experiencing the same bug.
