What is your passion, your hobby?

People who know me are aware that my biggest passion is football(soccer). I like to watch it, to play it and to bet on it. I do everything I can to keep my passion as alive as possible, but it seems harder and harder, as my job interferes. I hate myself for this, but without my job, I would be broke. And we need money in order to live. I wish I could earn my living out of my passion in a way or another. What is your passion? Can you make a living out of it?

My passion is study! Right now, Bible prophecy.. But no.. no money for it.. How great would that be!? To make money doing that which you have a real passion for! I also love to grow things.. make a pretty landscape using flowers and some weeds for ground cover, pulling out the weeds I don't want! I really should have tried to make money doing that.. I still could I suppose..

Flower industry can be very profitable. You could start out small and develop as time goes by.

My hobby is doing crafts, basically, crocheting, but I also do some knitting as well. I make baby layettes for those gals in the church who are expecting, and I doit all free of charge. I get a great blessing from helping others as much as they gain a blessing from me helping them. I just recently finished two layettes, as one baby was born in July, and the other is due next month. I had so much fun making them, and I will continue to do so. Iguess you could say that it is my ministry to the Lord and to the church.

@rosekiss I prefer knitting to crochet as I can knit without watching what I'm doing which means I can knit while I watch television. A lot of my knitting is for charity too, but I usually stick to simple things like scarves and hats. What you're doing sounds great, and I should really start stretching myself and taking on more ambitious projects.

My passions are travel, art and writing. I have written a few articles about the places that I have visited as a tourist and I have made a bit of money that way, but unfortunately I can't make a living out of it. The same goes for my art. I sell paintings and photo manipulations, but I only make a small amount of money that way.

I always envied people who seem to enjoy their jobs. They all say that this is not a job for them, because they are in love with what they do. Unfortunately, I don't really see how could I monetize my passion, except for betting on events, but the luck was never a good friend of mine.

writing, performance poetry, drinking, burlesque (watching) - the first two earn me some extra income but not enough for the second two hobbies.

My passion is to write, paint, craft and gardening. I do all of them almost everyday. Right now my focus is on writing. I had taken a sabbatical for a couple of years. So I have come back with renewed vigor.

I've never been good at sport, but I do love to watch cricket and tennis. Other than that I'm passionate about photography and earn a bit of money from my photos on microstock sites. And I love growing bonsai trees, but it would take a big investment to turn that into a business so I can't see myself ever doing that. And of course I love writing and hope to find a way to earn decent money from that one day.
