Is there any way to get rid of internet spammers?

They've really ruined the internet and there is just no way to get rid of them. They are the reason I stopped using my Google analytics. Because they polluted my data with their spam referrals. They also infected my email with infinite number of sender names. There is no possible way to block them. I wish there was a way to tackle them down. Or have a law that prohibits spamming. Internet will be much better without them.

I doubt anyone will ever succeed in getting rid of them completely, but some sites seem to cope with spammers better than others do. At the moment things look pretty good at MyLot in that regard. I hope it stays that way.

You are living in Europe, then spam is very regulated and there are strong laws against spam. Every spam should have an opt-out : you can unsubscribe at any moment. For spams not having an opt-out, you can lodge a complaint. In Belgium, complaints have to be sent by email to eco(dot)inspec(at)economie(dot)fgov(dot)be Caution : it is a real complaint and they will sue the spammers... if they find them.

I live in Belgium and I didn't even know that. As hard as it would be to find those spammers it is worth trying. Thanks for the email.

Disabling remember password or even less exposure on the Net could perhaps help.
