We Survived

I returned to work, part time, on Tuesday. Zj went to the babysitter house We survived. But it ws the longest 2 and a half hours of my life. Painstakingly long. I probably checked my phone every 5 minutes. Her sitter was nice enough to send me 2 pictures! The day drug on, but we survived. Her sitter brought her back to me so she was already in her car seat, then we had a 20 minute drive home. I couldn't wait to get her in the house, and snuggle her all afternoon on the couch. I think she missed me too, because when we got home she was SO sleepy, but every time I tried to put her down her eyes flew open as if to say "no way mom, you abandoned me earlier today, if I'm going to sleep it's going to be on you." and for one afternoon, that was just fine with me :)
