Insect repellants, room fresheners, Error Messages

I have been trying to get into my discussions and others to interact. Most of the time I receive error messages that say my request timed out. This is very frustrating to me. I want to be active on the site. In one discussion I could open, someone asked me about my bug repelling spray I sprayed around the new house. I put ten drops lavender oil and about five drops peppermint oil and just a tiny amount of dish soap in a large sprayer bottle. I sprayed it on all the baseboards, and in the corners. I got this from a post on facebook that says it will keep away spiders. I sprayed this spray generously in all the rooms of the duplex because there was even an unchanged litter tray in the house. It was very stuffy. That was on Monday. We were back there today and the smell was so much better. I use pure essential oils, not room fragrance oils. To keep mosquitoes away when I am outside I use a shirt for a cover up. On the collar and cuffs or sleeves I dab lemon grass oil. It seems to work. Now, if there was just some bug repellent I could spray at myLot to fix these error message bugs. I even tried to tag @GoAskAlex_Admin and it did not work.
