I joined two days ago and I just noticed my earnings are a little over $1. Congrats to me. At an average of 50 cents a day that means it will take 20 days before I can cash out for $10. Now, that means I have to keep positing, keep reading, keep commenting and keep active in order to achieve that.
Just as I typed that the sun came out a little! It probably won't last long, but maybe that is a good sign.
How are you other newbies doing when it comes to that money in the kitty?

Not doing great, but I'm also here to find a community, get involved in discussions and find other people who enjoy writing.

That is petty good going for a three day stint! So far I am not even closer to the 20c mark. Though I would like to do better than that.

@AbbyGreenhill I suppose compared to the way Bubblews used to be, it sounds bad, but at least MyLot are paying realistic amounts that should be sustainable. As membership grows, I'm sure our earnings will too.

@AbbyGreenhill Yes I noticed the month changed but there is not a single cent under September. I got my first few cents today only. Weird huh?

@ChesneyM Something strange is going on. I signed up only last week & made 30 odd comments but not a single penny was generated on account of that. I made a few comments today and suddenly I am seeing a few cents credited to my account. This could mean there is a cool off period for the first week during which nothing is credited or it could be a bug. I am not sure what it is but I'm glad that I am finally off the mark

I have been back to mylot for a couple of weeks and all I have is 33 cents. I feel like such a

@AbbyGreenhill Yeah. I know I can do that. I have a hard time starting the posts. Don't know what to write about a lot of the time. I comment mainly on the posts that interest me.....not just so that I can make comments.

I wonder if you ever reached payout or if you are really close. I found the discussion to the right on the you might also like category and this topic is from the 20th of August when you had that buck. You now have over 800 posts and at least with the old system that should have been enough for you to actually reach your first payout.
So have you passed the 10$ mark yet ?

@AbbyGreenhill You may need longer posts (improved quality if possible) and more friends to interact with - try to follow more people, this should help increase your interactions

Just as I said, things slowed down after day one. I think I'm doing as much viewing and commenting, but it's not adding up very quickly.
