I have done nothing productive today. OK, I gave Kitty some extra wet food, and I played a bit of guitar on my bed. But for the most part I have done nothing. @Maluse would be proud of me, but she is missing in action.
I may go...

So a new sushi spot opened up around my job and they had some amazing offers.
I was curious to try it since the place had amazing reviews and for what its worth, I ended up paying about $32 dollars for about $75 dollars worth...

For those who know me I'm an avid gamer and enjoy technology like a kid so this year as a Christmas gift to myself, I decided to buy myself a work/gaming monitor.
All my devices are Apple so it was very tricky finding the perfect...

Someone said something really horrible to me the other day. Very cruel.
So I'm avoiding this person.
This person called me yesterday and asked if we were getting together for Christmas and I hemmed and hawed and put it off.
I...

We bought several gift cards from the fast casual restaurant JAGGERS, which is owned by Texas Roadhouse.
Jaggers is about 3 miles from our house and their food and atmosphere is very good.
For a $25 gift card you got a voucher...

I was looking up the word punnet because Judyev was talking about a punnet of squash recently.
It sounds like punnet, in the UK, is mostly used like a small basket to hold strawberries or other small fruit. As I checked out...

I can barely believe it, myself. However, Chester, someone George's known a long time, came by and mowed our back yard for us. I'm okay with it. A little tired, but I do plan on getting the laundry done, too.
George is out on the...

Happy Monday Everyone! it's a sunny morning with temperatures just above freezing. There's a chance of some sort of snowy mix overnight but looks like it won't amount to anything. (fingers crossed)
I'm sitting here with my...

Finding time to post has proven to be a challenge. George's whims are surprising to me in a lot of ways. He likes going out, doing things and visiting places. He's constantly (at least in the past few weeks) looking for something...

Yeah, it was that. I woke up at about 6:30a. and picked up my phone as I usually do to check my emails and such. Things wouldn't load and I looked, and the blue lights were not visible on the router. Ugh! I always get a sinking...

The photo is of a guinea pig, not a mouse.
I heard a story today that I found amusing. The country town where we both grew up has two major grocery stores, Coles and IGA.
A few months back, a naughty mouse chewed through a...

My cousin died Saturday. She was 71.
She lived 2 hours north of where I've always lived.
I haven't seen her in 40 years and truth be told I don't remember seeing her very often in the first place, maybe a dozen times in my...
