I have known what I want since I had cancer in my 20s. I want to be cremated and set up on a table in a simple urn to watch all my friends celebrate my life. I want them to laugh and cry and laugh some more. I want them to listen to all kinds of music and hug my children. I want them to tell stories and share moments.... I love moments. Food, there has to be lots of food and maybe a card game or two. If the weather is good, it should be at a park where the kids can play and run.

@allknowing I would have carried out my mom's plans but my sister was in charge and didn't. I have told my children and I have written it out. I told them that the middle child is in charge because they will do it my way.

You think your loved ones will carry out your plants. I doubt very much.

Same as @AbbyGreenhill , I'd like to be as simple as possible too. I used to think of just burning my body and throw the ash to the sea. But, I was commented that this is polluting the sea and harming the sea lives. I'd like to be cremated too. I prefer not to have the ceremony too. To me, the most important is when I am still alive, so when I die, nothing much need to be done.

@kaka135 This applies to life in general. No one interacts with anyone in the real world these days but are invited for functions as they need people to celebrate any event. Sad but true.

So many these days prefer cremation. I have not heard about the tree. Can you elaborate a bit more. Planting a tree on one's grave is kind of common Surely you would want people to eat brownies (lol)

I have never ever thought about it, mostly because I am not sure, and when it comes to things like that, I will leave it to my son and daughter-in-law. I just live my life, and when it happened iit happens. God knows when my time is up, and I will leave it to him, and just continue on with my life like I have been.

@allknowing I haven't planned anything, and I suppose I should, as one never knows when it could happen, but on the same hand, my son and daughter-in-law would take care of it. My daughter-in-law, is very wellorganized, much more than I am. It will happen when it is supposed to, and not before, is the way I look at it.
