Would aliens in another universe wash and fold it? See, Stephen Hawking says that black holes are the entrance to another universe, or other universes - he hasn't specified how many there are. Hawking speculates that when you slip over the event horizon, you don't just get sucked into a swirling mass of matter that is trapped in utter dark emptiness forever - you just pop out into another universe on the other side. But you can't come back. Which means no one can prove the theory. My kind of theory, really. The kind where you can say any crazy thing you like and no one can prove you wrong. Hawking says he won't try it himself. This theory destroys the usefulness of a black hole. I have always thought it would be a great idea if we could gather up the dangerous and toxic waste, etc., that we don't want on earth and send it all off in a rocket aimed at a black hole. Then it could never escape to harm anyone. But if Hawking is right, we'd just be dumping our garbage in some other universe. Of course, they couldn't get through that same black hole to find us, so maybe it's still a good idea. If you had your own personal black hole, what would you throw through it, just to get it out of your life?
Humans could escape from black holes, rather than getting stuck in them, according to a new theory proposed by Stephen Hawking.

I was just looking into something like this. Look up CERN. It is actually really creepy to me. If I could actually drop my laundry down a black hole and have it washed though, that would be pretty amazing :)

CERN hasn't managed to destroy the world yet, but they're still working on it. It's amazing to me that they think this particle collider is a good idea.

I was reading this article in an Italian newspaper right this morning. I will not tell you what I would like to throw into the black hole, I do not want he reads this article.

Ah, I understand. Some things are better not published, lol. I just figured out who, in my life, would be the perfect candidate for a one-way trip to another universe, but getting them into the rocket might be a hard sell.

I am with Anna .. the weirdest thoughts come to me when I think Stephen Hawking. I read some of his theories and it feels like he contradicts himself more often. Maybe I don't understand

Truthfully, this isn't even a new theory. It's a staple of science fiction. Maybe he just says things to get into the news now and again?

I really don't know. I will think on this.
