Our families are the closest we have to us. Most anyway. It's normal for them to strike out as the family members when we are down. It's hard to take none the less and can be very hurtful. My GS usually comes to me a little later and apologizes. My daughter not so much. Bi-polar people seem to think that the problem lies with other people, not themselves. I love my family VERY much but I sure don't like them sometimes.

True. Most of the time we are so close that I forget and then when she has a mood shift it is awful.

@celticeagle so y ou c an appreciate it then that I worked for a bi polar manager one day she thought we were the best crew she ever had, oh my the next day she thought we were' just horrible and she refused to take her meds.

hi @celticeagle I have felt the same way at times I wo rked for a bipolar woman manager who would not take her medications one day we were the worst crew she had, the next da y we were the most wonderful crew she eer h a d you co uld never win with her as she would go ovr board one way or the other

@celticeagle I know and she fired some really good people too . if only she had taken her meds on some days she could b e so nice.

@Hatley ....It is sad that people don't have case managers or someone to make sure they are taking needed medications.

When they are manic they are not realistic and no one seems to be their friend.
