What do you think of selfies?

This is me.

I tend to take selfies of me to update my social media accounts and blogs. I don't mind selfies. I know others who do. Where do you stand on selfies? If you don't care, share a photo of yourself.

I am not a fan of selfies, they are supposed to be a photo of ourselves, so I do not understand "selfies" where several people show at the same time.

It is because the photographer is in the photo it can be called a selfie. As they are taking a photo of themselves and whomever joins them.

Well I used to take selfies all the time. I guess it's all about vanity and being proud of how we look that makes us love sharing selfies. To me it doesn't matter if people like to post selfies or not. We all have a right to post what we want to post as long as it's not offending anyone. Nowadays I am back to using nature or cartoon images as my avatar or profile pic.

I take selfies because I would not. No one have any photos of me. As I am the one behind the camera all the time.

Selfies are meant for those who are close to us. I have seen a picture of a boss and a staff member taken with a selfie.

@rusty2rusty I know that but you need to stay close to each other for the image. Am I right here? That's the experience I have. Also our cameras have that auto feature where you can take you own snap.
