The medieval festival

My husband and I spent the weekend in Horsens, Denmark. We visited the medieval festival and we had a great time. We arrived Friday afternoon. We went to a Chinese restaurant where we had dinner with a friend. Afterwards we went to the area where the medieval festival took place. We visited some of the stalls, we watched the knight tournament, we listened to the music and we drank mead. When it started to get cold outside we went to one of the local pubs where we met two friends that we hadn't seen for a long time. Saturday morning we went back to our home. We can't usually afford to go away for the weekend, so we enjoyed this weekend a lot. Do you and your partner/friends ever go away for the weekend? Which places did you visit?
