I will get the chance to meet my online friend

I have an online friend from Denmark. We have been online friends for a long time, but we have never met. We have a lot of things in common. We are both artists and we sometimes talk about art and exhibitions. In her last email my friend told me that her next exhibition is going to take place on my Island. I was excited to hear that because it means that we will get the chance to meet for the first time. I have told her that I will be there when she opens the exhibition. I look forward to meeting her and it will be interesting to see her drawings in person because she is very talented. She doesn't know exactly when the exhibition will take place, but she will tell me the date when she has talked to the owner of the place.

Good for you that you are going to meet an on-line friend. I have never had the opportunity but back in the day, myLotters from Manila had a get together but i missed my chance to join them. It would have been a great time to meet my other local myLotters.

Allen, it is to bad that you could not have made the meeting of online friends when you had the chance but maybe someday you all could arrange another get together. It would certainly have been lots of fun to get together.

@allen0187 It is a pity that you weren't able to participate in the meeting. Maybe there will be another meeting in the future. I have never met any mylotters. It looks like my husband and I are the only members from Denmark, but it could be fun to meet members from other parts of Europe

That is so exciting to be able to meet an online friend in person. I hope she will have some extra time to spend with you and the two of you can have a wonderful time together. I have in the past met a few online friends and we had such a great time just getting to know each other. The thing to remember is you want to meet in an environment where there will be other people around.

@Porcospino The online friends I met were in the same State as me and the furtherest away was like 250 miles but we had arrangements to meet when the person was coming to my city on business. We had a nice lunch and talk and became good friends.

I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your meetings with your online friends. I have also met some of my online friends. So far I have only met friends from my own country, but it could be very interesting to meet online friends from other parts of the world one day.
