I am so amazed when a young person likes a band from my era. It tickles me and makes me a little proud. Proud because to me it shows the new generation has some smarts and a discerning ear. I think The Doors are one of the best bands ever. I love to listen to Jimmy. He often gets me going in the morning and I never tire of any of the tunes. Now Frank Zappa is another story. I remember a party I went to once. This guy was setting up empty beer cans in the door way. I was trying to get through and we struck up a conversation. I was new to Mothers of Invention and so he explained the situation to me. I don't know why I thought of that. Ever do that? Be thinking of some lovely thing and this weird thing comes to mind?

Some times its just not an age thing. Other things about a person can be attractive.

Too bad Jim destroyed his life. He was a genius when it comes to music.

@1hopefulman ...Blues and energy. Doesn't seem logical. But she sure did.
