I know that all my readers must have become curious after reading my last post to know my answers to the questions I have asked to them. As age grows the thought process undergoes a sea change. While in school I had only one belief that Teacher’s Day is only for the school teachers. Gradually, I started considering this whole notion of Teacher’s Day in a broader way. For me, it did not limit only to the school teachers but the teachers in colleges and universities too because they are also in the teaching profession. Thereafter, the spectrum got much bigger because I included the home tutors as well as those who guide us to learn some vocational course. Recently, some more names got enlisted under my teacher’s name. Earlier, my list was filled with only those teachers who took up teaching as their profession but now I feel that how I can forget those teachers of my life who were unpaid but selflessly imparted lessons based on morality, academics, hygiene and what not. Yes, I am talking about my family which includes my parents, uncles and aunts, my brothers and sisters along with rest of the members. They were the foundation stone while rest of the teachers made me smart enough to face the outer world. Even at present my marital family is also a part of my list but still I would say my biological family is the foundation stone and others garnished me with their knowledge. Teachers are so important in life. I had many myself. Mostly in elementary school and one professor in college. They are the foundations you are right.

I consider my family was the foundation and the teachers thereafter polished me with their smart guidance to face the outer world.

This is so true, all along our life we learn from so many people, our parents first, then our teacher and we never stop learning.

Yes, we first learn rhymes at home, even the learning of alphabets, the names of the body parts and so on. Even, I learnt to draw from my sister. The professional teachers come almost after four years of life but the education at home never stops. Academic education is a different chapter altogether but preparing a man and a woman starts at home.

everyone teaches us something or the other: might be good, might be bad...it depends upon how we take it....for me my biggest teachers are my parents who taught me the smallest things in my lige which no one else could have...and they still keep on teaching me... of course my teachers list include my school and college teachers.. Another teacher who taught me so many things is my Dog...how can i forget her....
