After I made my discussion on here earlier. I laid down. I usually do not lay down after waking up. I now realize my sugar had gone up and was giving me a slight headache and making me tired. I woke up several hours later. I suffer from type 2 diabetes. My dad and step are both a type 2 as well. My grandmother was a type 1 that required daily shots. I don't want to do that. Do you suffer from or know someone with diabetics type 1 or 2?

My father has diabetes 1 and my grandfather had diabetes 2. My father has had diabetes for many years, I think that he was diagnosed around the time that I was born - almost 40 years old.

My grandmother was in her 80's when she past away. She had type one. I am glad people can live a long life with the disease. As long as they eat right. As medicines only helps so far.

My mother and sister and my husband - Type 2. I don't have any problems with blood sugar, just a little slow to recover when I was pregnant but not gestational diabetes.

I had gestational diabetes. I was told years ago that was a sign for later years that a person could develop symptoms. It did for me out of the blue one day. Over 20 years later.
