It's got to be heaven when I can set here and write, do research or check the sites and listen to Janis Joplin. Piece of My Heart, Summer Time, Ball and Chain, One Good Man, and of her songs really. I love her voice. She was quite a gal. This woman can sing! She grew up in a mining town. Lived in San Francisco. Died of drug enthusiasm at age 27. I often wonder, as with Jim Morrison, Elvis Presley and several others, what else they would have graced the public with if they had lived longer. They were here for such a short time. I am sure they had a lot more in them.
