To follow or not to follow / myLot

So how do you all choose who to follow in here? I'm wondering since when I'm on I go to the "Explore" page more often than the "People" page and I join in whatever discussions that interest me there. Or is it about building connections with followers and the people you follow? I know there's no one right way to do things but just wondering how you guys do it

It doesn't matter how you do it.. all that matters is how much you interact because your payout will depend on that alone.

Yeah I'm sure everyone does it differently. I was on Bubblews before and I went on a following spree the first day I joined, hehe. I doubt I will do the same here though, I'd rather focus on my interaction.

@cahaya1983 I am sure that here is not as important as it was in Bubblews to follow and be followed. I usually go through the "Explore" section and see what there is interesting to discuss.

@LadyDuck Yeah that's what I do when I want to see other people's discussions. Eventually I'd come across the people I follow too, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

I follow based on how active they are and how much I like their posts/comments.

And of course I use the Explore page a lot to find some new discussions to post on and discover new people to follow.

Yeah I visit the Explore page often too. Most of the people I follow are found through other people's discussions.

I like to read people's posts before following them, and if I find them interesting I will follow.

That's what I do too, I usually go to their profile page and see their discussions and how active they are in participating.

Yeah there are some users from other sites that use the same name and avatar. Good that you can connect to people you already know.

I follow people if they appear to write posts I can respond to in a meaningful way, but I check both the People and Explore at different times of the day.

I really don't make it a point to follow many people. In the end, I think I mostly follow people that I find I'm continuously responding to their discussions and only because it's a really easy and convenient way to get to those discussions if I want to seek them out.

I think that's a good basis to decide who to follow. Many people that I follow are in fact found through discussions that I like to participate in.

When someone follows me , i look at his/her profile page to know some details about him /her . Then i go to his /her discussions . Now, if he/she doesn't have any discussion yet , i take a look at how he/she answers in posts . Then , i decide whether i will follow the person.

That's pretty much what I've been doing, as well. I like to see how active they are in participating before deciding to follow them or not. Thanks for sharing!
