Cop are dropping like flies...

I heard on the news a week or so ago that about 84 cops had been killed across the US this year. I think this is horrible. I also think that cops that are cruel and mistreat perps are bad news too. I wonder what is going on in this country that has made this happen. What ugliness lurks in the hearts of men.? I like to think of policemen as 'peace officers'. Keeping the peace, not doing unscrupulous things to those arrested. What is wrong with people?
