Am I going to have to turn on the heat?

It sure has been chilly that last few mornings. I am wondering if I am going to have to turn the heat on in my room early. I usually try to wait until as near to Halloween as I can. I have been putting a small comforter around my shoulders and may have to find my jammies soon and my thick socks. , Usually we are having our Cheyenne Autumn right about now with nice warm days at a comfortable temp. It's down to the 40's the last few mornings and that's too chilly for these old bones. Are you ready to turn on the heat yet?

Not even close! I'm still running my air conditioner 24/7. Granted I could probably turn it down a bit at night as it is cooling off, but my bedroom is small and the sun shines right in it so during the day it gets really warm. I need to turn the air on about an hour or so before I go to bed in order for the room to cool down.

@celticeagle Yeah, it is starting to cool off a little at night.. but I can't handle heat very well. Even 70 is kind of warm for me. 90 is unbearable! So my a/c stays on pretty much all summer.

Doesn't it go down there? The sun that is. I always open things up when it cools and close it up when the sun is out Works great here. And then if it's really hot(in triple digits) I will turn on the air occasionally when it is just too hot to bare.

It has been quite chilly here to in the UK. I am starting to feel cold and think I am might have to get the electric heaters out of the attic again!

Hope we don't have too severe of a winter. My arthritis won't care for that much.

I am happy to live in a warmer area. It goes in the 50's during the night but is still around 80°F during the afternoon. I don't remember to have had to turn on the heat before mid October. Most of the time, I do it at the end of October.

That is how it usually is here. This summer has been weird. Usually August is HOT. Not so this year. Chilly.
