There is no regular routine for me nowadays because I have retired and simply get out of bed once I awake. The day is often broken by a trip out to the local city centre, but I have no set time for such events. This is the benefit of retirement because it could become a boring routine when I had to wake up at a certain time for work and plan my day accordingly.

I hate being a slave to the alarm clock! The one thing I am most looking forward to when I retire is not having to get out of bed until I'm actually ready!!!

@WorDazza The very first thing that I did on the day that I retired was to delete the alarm from my mobile phone. Amazing how such a small act can be so enjoyable.
