Don't They Believe Themselves?

I believe in ghosts,one of my friends doesn't.He scoffs at me and says that I am superstitious.He says ghosts don't exist.
There is a old, deserted house at the outskirts of our town.People say it is haunted.
I asked my friend if he could stay at that house for a night.He flatly refused,fear writ large on his face.
I have read many articles written by people who say ghosts don't exist.I wonder,why my friend and those who call me superstitious don't stay in haunted places and prove themselves right.
Don't they believe what they assert is right?

@OceanTeara,exactly,if they don't believe in ghosts,they why are they so scared?Isn't it ridiculous?

Good point. Those who say there are no ghosts at all should sleep in a haunted house for a week! Hahaha! Good luck to them.

He doesn't believe in ghosts and he still doesn't want to stay in a haunted house. I wonder what he is afraid of. I have lived in a haunted house and I believe in ghosts. I don't want to stay in that house or other haunted houses.

@Porcospino,ghosts exist.Although I have not encountered them,but have experienced their presence in particular places.I have had the spooky feeling many times.The universe is so mysterious.Anything may exist or may not.What we know is just the tip of the iceberg.
