News or Advertising?

One of our local TV stations has started something that annoys me. They'll "tease" a story; then, instead of saying, "that's coming up in our next half hour" they say, "You can see the full story on our web site."
Most TV stations' web sites are, like this one, monetized. However, unlike myLot or Persona Paper, there's also a TV station behind their web site, one that's also filled with advertisements.
This station carries seven and a half hours of news programming a day, and one would think that, somewhere in that nearly third of the day (not counting the rerun of the 10 PM newscast during the overnight hours) they could cover all the news -- including these stories they want us to run to their web site to see.
They may not realize this, but there are plenty of people who don't have computers or internet access (neither of my aunts do), so they'll never see that great story that was just teased on TV.
What bugs me, though, is that isn't news reporting. It's advertising the web site.

I absolutely HATE it when they do that! First off, I am too lazy to boot up my laptop just to see the news. They should tell it on the TV. Second, yes it is just to get people to go on their website for monetary purposes. I think it's getting ridiculous. Smart, but annoying.
