Attitude is Everything

I found out that my brother was coming to bring a sofa to my sister. He was bringing a young man from his church and it was to be a quick trip. He did want to see us, and take us all to lunch and offered to haul a load or two for Bob and I. Unfortunately, I did not have a load ready, did not want him waiting around and had a bad attitude about his timing. I complained to my husband about the time that would be taken away from moving. But I quickly changed my tune. I had found something in a facebook group that I wanted, and I was actually the first person to comment on it. I got it, but it was large. My brother and his friend said they would help us with that and it seemed that we had perfect timing. It even turned out that we could not get it until after lunch, so we had lunch and then he helped us with our large item, and saw our house and was able to hit the road from there. No back tracking. I have not told you what I bought. I am saving that for another post.

Well we made coffee and sat at a table outside and drank it and discussed plans for opening up the house and arranging things. That makes it feel more like home for sure.

I am going backwards so I already know what you bought!! As long as I wake up in the morning I have a great attitude--I don't let other people's plans/words/thoughts change that--I WON'T give anyone that power--it belongs to me!
