Getting The Water To Stop Dripping

I have one of those stupid bathroom showers with two shower heads. A single handle operates both. Turn it left and one pours. Pour it right and the other one starts. Getting it to the exact centre so neither continues to drip is extremely tricky. I am really beginning to hate the dammed thing. Arthur Chappell

I have only one showerhead but the control knob has lost an essential screw, which I think the plumber just forgot to replace when he fixed the leak. So, the knob falls off and people put it in the wrong position when they put it back on and suddenly, you have hot water to start instead of starting off cold and the shower runs when it's off and is off when you turn it on and well... I need to find a screw that's long enough because it can be annoying and potentially scalding as it is.

sounds like it needs attention if it is in danger of scalding users

There is a saying ''-For the loss of a nail the kingdom was lost'' .Nothing is unimportant.I hope you will find a screw and fix it urgently.

Excuse my ignorance, but why would you need two shower heads?

they each pour water out at different rates - my mum got it installed - I would not have chosen one of its design. I've seen single shower heads that can be adjusted to different pressures

@RasmaSandra that does sound even more inconvenient than my shower

@arthurchappell Can you fly over to Riga, Latvia. We have a system where once a faucet starts dripping it won't stop no matter what you do. I have a full bucket I pour out in the garden ever day. My hubby had not time to fix it before leaving on his business trip. He won't be back for another week.

Oh no!! Which manufacturer's brain wave was that. When everyone rushes and runs around doing a precision job in one's bathroom would be the last thing anyone one want to spend time on You better get rid of it unless you want to develop your patience.

Looks like your plumber sold you a pup in that shower head.

I think that I have never seen a shower with two shower heads. Can you replace the double head with a simple shower head?

That's odd for sure. We replaced ours with one from the store with more settings, like some that help conserve water.
