Why do you want to put baby powder to your baby or kid?
What is the advantage if you put baby powder to your baby or kid?
Does it have side effect or any reaction on skin?
I don't want to put baby powder to my baby so that she won't be used to it and of course I am worried about the reaction on her skin.

I dont have any kids, but I do use it for myself. I use it during the hot, and humid weather it really helps with sweat, and stickiness.

I also used baby powder too especially during school days though now I am no longer interested to use it.

I put baby powder on my baby's neck, armpits, all those areas that are prone to rashes. I don't put any on her face, though. I don't want her to inhale the powder. She used to have many rashes on her neck. When I started putting powder on her neck her rashes disappeared, so I'd say that the powder has a good effect on her.

To be honest I've never put that stuff on my kids when they where babies. Most babies have no trouble with baby powered it is there to help with water and to help keep a rash from happening as well as the diaper rubbing against the skin causing irritation. If a bacteria rash starts this stuff doesn't help.
