I have met people who do somethings which are not normally acceptable in the society. However, they present these things like they are the most normal things to do

Ok, what did I do wrong this time? Checks to see it my pants are up and zipped. Yes, I am good there. Hmmm Ok, what exactly are you referring to?? I'm now confused.

@sofssu Oh the light bulb shines bright. I am following you now. I can be so dense at times. Old age! It does that to you. I myself think for the most part it is done for attention, and nothing more. Negativity always seems to draw crowds, and they tend to use that and make the most out of it. We all know people have to put their input in on it, and the ball gets rolling sort of speak. That is just my.00002 cents worth of course.

@TexanTornado You make some valid points there.. attention seeking using negative information. I agree with you completely on that. I guess your .00002 cents is worth more.. much more.

@TexanTornado yeah its got to do with you ..and all the things you keep doing. I really don't want to expand on this.. but its more like they are trying to justify certain behaviors like having a fling and saying that thy are right, the way they come on strong with their arguments tell me that they really know it isn't so. Is wrong really right because you are the one doing it - I wonder.

This is too much. What are you talking about. Is it something that cannot be mentioned in public?

@allknowing Yeah.. sure I would not talk about these things anyday.. They seem to blog about it everyday. Well I am just assuming that I am getting old and outdated.

@allknowing Sorry but I really don't want to talk about that anymore.. However, what do you think about the statement i made.. Does something become right just because you do it ..

Moral standings seem to be at a great loss in this day and age. The new "normal" is nothing like what normal was back when I was younger.

@Shellyann36 Yeah maybe I am old fashioned. I cannot accpet these things as normal behavior.

Those kinds are those that don't have shames for themselves . They just do what they do , not caring if it is already against the norms of the society . Maybe they don't believe in a God anymore .

@SIMPLYD You have a point there.. There are totally shameless and go on about their exploits. I wonder if God would ever feature in their thoughts. I guess not.

Maybe they're just desperate for attention? Either that...or trying to make a statement of some sort. Is it something very very bad?

Yeah.. that is what I felt.. They really seemed desperate for some acceptance or in some cases it was a show of bravado.. I guess it was something That I wouldn't want to talk about in public.

@sofssu I understand. And it makes sense, they might be looking for acceptance, just not from the mainstream, so they're willing to go to the extremes just to be part of a particular crowd.

I think the definition of "normal" has changed. But, there are still certain things being done these days that I will never consider normal.

@bluesa normal is not subjective, that is what these people make it out to be. Just because my values have changed I cannot think that it is normal .. social acceptance or social standards are a bench mark of the age we live in.

People now define "normal" as being subjective - as in "this is normal for me". That basically means "normal" has no meaning anymore. If every rule of society is subjective, then there are no rules.

@Rollo1 Yeah that is another one of those things. Normal is not subjective.. Those are standards and bench marks. I fail to understand that argument too.

This is true, there are people very good in manipulating the others.
