Omegle... Talk to strangers!

a friend of mine and i used it to just have fun for a few hours, chatting with strangers all over the world. some were fun and actually wanted to have conversation, but most people just wanted to find lovers or something it'd be nice to talk to good strangers and maybe even find someone with same interests have you ever encountered or used this site?

No, I do not like to chat with strangers, this must be funny, but it's also dangerous.

yes, it depends n how we are using it. since omegle does not give away personal stuff, it is all up to the user how much they give away

@LadyDuck maybe they are just comfortable because the person on the other line is far away. One even told me a secret he didn't tell his family or friends

Never used the site. First time I heard of it. Used to go on chat rooms using mIRC and Yahoo Messenger for anime chat rooms and trivias back in college but that was it.

@lady1993 Well I was using it a decade ago and it was okay at the time. Haven't been using it for a long time. Too bad if it's inadvisable to use nowadays.

i've never used the yahoo messenger for group chats since i heard bad reviews from friends

There was an instant messenger (I don't think it exists anymore) that was similar to ICQ--you could search by language and interest and chat with strangers. I met some great key pals on there. I never met anyone weird. However, if the site you're talking about has a lot of people wanting to date, then you might find weirdos.

some of my friends actually fund fun but not weird people in omegle... i guess i'm just not lucky

it's a site where you can chat with strangers... no need to login or stuff..just chatting with strangers - the site searches for online people and you can communicate with them

I'm guessing most sites like that are filled with people who go online for weird stuff. Plus with all kinds of things happening in the virtual world today...

I have only been on this site a few days, but I think the sort of site you are talking about is a dating type site. From what I have seen here on myLot it is not that kind of site.

yes, mylot is different although i wouldn't really call omegle a dating site unless the users treat it as one - omegle is super private
