Talking to Myself and getting an Experts Opinion!!

Statue at Versailles - a visit with my children

I was busy in the Kitchen this morning and one of my cats walked by and I mentioned something . . from out of the study came a voice - which is my daughter that is supposed to be studying . . . "Are you talking to yourself to get an Expert's Opinion Mom?" Well she had me laughing like a hyena - the wild animal found in SA that laughs rather than howls. Do the simple things in life make you laugh a while - lift your spirits and give you energy to face the day??? I love my children when they do this!!

I talk to myself because my children don't listen to me. It's nice that your daughter recognizes that YOU are the expert.

Hello! This is MA-LU speaking. Curiosity has sent me here. When I opened the site, I thought I was on bubblews. With the exception of one member I only saw faces and user names I know. --- Your post or whatever it's called here reminds me of my mother who used to talk to herself occasionally in her last years. When I pointed this out to her, she said, "I have to talk to a sensible person at least once a day". Can you tell me what is better her than on the other site?

Only that you dont have a limit to post. that you make a dollar a week, that its a discussion panel, and that you can keep it small or whatever you want. give it a month try out. But stay on BB

@Inlemay I don't need 'no limit' posting. I can't imagine myself posting original content on more than one site anyway. ---- What does 'discussion panel' mean? The comments here are of exactly the same kind as on bubblews as are the posts btw. Or am I missing anything?

it s a pretty sharp observation, nicely shared - sounds like your daughter should be a stand up comedienne one day

Your daughter is more a friend than a daughter to you.Nowadays talking to oneself is safe as anyone would think that they are talking on a cellphone

I have started to talk to myself lately, is it a sign of aging?

I get amusing lines like that from my 6-year-old, haha. I can probably publish a collection of his amusing one-liners he has said to me.
