Adding A New Member

I am interacting with you.My niece has come and she's now sitting near me.She was eager to know about Mylot.I explained to her what Mylot is all about.She has left her laptop back at home.She's eager to join the site and has promised me that she will join the site as soon as she returns home. The eagerness on her face reassures me that she will keep her word.

@SYMPLYD,Sure,It would be great if you follow her.She is very weak in English language.Has completed MBA recently.Currently teaches computer in a private company and is very popular among her students.Due to her weakness in English she is now hesitating to join Mylot.I have tried to reassure her that if she joins,she would find herself in a community that's so friendly and co-operative.

@else34 Yes that's true . We are here to interact not to correct grammars . As long as she can express herself well , even if it's not gramatically correct , it's okay here . Here she can improve her English .

@SIMPLYD Exactly.I told her that there are thousands of non native English speakers in our community and we all commit grammatical mistakes too,still we are here.Mylot has accepted us as members and we get all the benefits from the site that native English speakers get.May be I have to take a day or two to reassure her,I am sure I can make her join.

Earlier by recommending new members you could earn on their posts , not sure if they still have that ! Anyways, it is good to have a new members from your own family

@else34 Yes when i started initially I had several referrals and slowly they all became inactive ...I am not sure whether they still have this feature ! Since the site is still growing we may have many older ones being added..

@kiran8 I didn't have any referrals then,because here in my town there are not many who love writing and are aware of sites like Mylot.Three years on the situation has not changed even now.But one thing,kiran,you can't rely on referrals.
