UPDATE-Hurricane Katerina Rescuer of Little Girl / myLot

You may remember I wrote about this a few weeks back. 10 years later and with the help of facebook friends the little girl was found and they were reunited on the "The Real" part of the Wendy Williams show. . LaShay is now 13 years old and doesn't remember to much about the hurricane. She said her family has been having a hard time since then and her mother has not been able to find a job. She was given a check for $10,000 dollars as was her rescuer. LaShay and Michael once again hugged and LaShay thanked him for saving her and her family. They will be staying in touch by phone. It was a tear jerker reunion.

It would not be a good memory until her rescurer came along. It was a wonderful reunion and something he had been dreaming about for 10 years.

Aw...so touching. Now I know why the word "touching" is the most appropriate for expressing this emotion even when it is such a "tear jerker". I would have used "heart warming" too. I wonder if they really used a thermometer to check the temperature when something so heart warming happens.

I remember the post you made. This is a great story. I am sure they will get along wonderfully. They should stay in touch. That was a horrible hurricane and I know people are still struggling there as a result.
