I've always wanted a tree house

Growing up my dad was a park ranger, so we didn't own the land we lived on. This limited what we could do with it. I always wanted a tree house, but that wasn't really allowed. I had a playhouse, and it was nicer than most, as family buillt it, so it wasn't cheap and plastic. I still thought it would be cooler if it had been in a tree.
To this day I want a treehouse. I see the work of people like those on the show Treehouse Masters, and I can't help but think.... I want that. I have no trees that could support such a house, nor would I want it on this lot. That would be for my getaway cabin. I'd want power of course, but that could be handled with solar panels.
I've also thought those tiny houses were cool, I really don't want or need that much space. So maybe someday I could have a tiny house, in a tree, and live in it.
What about you? Did you grow up with a tree house? Was it as cool as I imagined one would be?

I grew up in 200 acres of trees, I've lived in the city too, each has good and bad things.

yes ma'am, had me a tree house growin' up. 'twas a constant battle fightin' the bugs 'n possums o'er who'd rightful ownership 'f such, but loved to hide out there 'n read fer hours on end. 's fer livin' in such? i'm quite claustrophobic 'n it'd 've to 've one heck 'f a view!

@crazyhorseladycx Yep! lol, which would be pretty cool, and what I want now. although not necc now that i think about it, could just have sliding barn doors to move walls.

big enough windows, walls that open up so the outdoors becomes indoors, I bet it could be made to not feel small!

pretty much, now I want one that's solid and could be lived in, so I guess I want a fancy one, but growing up a platform would have been fine!
