Why PSL is compared in Pakistan with IPL?

As for as I know PSL is an starter in T20 league with a future ahead. There are lots of other leagues like BPL,SPL,Big bash League,FRIENDS T20 in England,CPL in Carribean etc. These leagues are below Indian premier league.
So, in my view for the betterment of PCB as well as PSL they should try to match to any one of leagues above before comparing it to IPL! It feels and sounds funny and childish to see such comments and thoughts!!

BPL is bagladesh premier league, Sri lanka premier league, and Pakistan premier league. India started the "IPL" and other countries followed the model.But no one achieved the massive success as of IPL.
Due to terrorism ,Pakistan players are not allowed in IPL. Now after 7 years they have started PSL, in UAE as Pakistan's homeland is prone to terrorists attack.
So, the Pakistan people are giving thoughtless comments as it will beat IPL etc etc.
For your understanding it's like EPL (English premier league-soccer) compared with some low level crude leagues in other parts of the world.
IPL do spin millions of dollars to players!!As cricket is the sport watched in India!!

Its Pakistan for crying out loud! Guys teach in their official school history textbooks that Pakistan was created in 712 A.D. when the arabs came to the baloch and multan area. Never take them seriously for anything.

@Kchitij2007 I guess Gayle and others joined PSL to promote cricket in PAK plus for money.As Kevin Peterson is banned from national side he has to .Gayle only plays for clubs for his livelihood and the rest are retired ones!!
I say you search some Pakistan news article if you want to stress out!!It will give you such fun.I always do that when I am stressed plus some yoga. Their main paper DAWN article is childish with no reasoning at all!!Bunch of idiotic writing

@mkrnex When something is so fundamentally wrong with the mindset of a nation, that's when you recognize the other waste of landspace they are. They're always out there competing with us, in any manner possible, just to prove that they are a threat no matter if we consider them as a joke! BCCI is the richest cricketing body in the world! While half of Pakistani team is banned under various match-fixing and suspect bowling action?! How can they even dream to compare with IPL when teams get shot at their stadiums?

PSL is not a problem, why comparing that toddler with giant like IPL. Let it be compared with equivalents like BPL or SPL. Meanwhile PSL haven't started yet!!

@mkrnex They can compare it with the moon for all I care, I'm sure BCCI is deleting any invitation they got from PSL from their servers and labeling it as "spam"for future purposes right now as we speak...
