It is a known fact that dark chocolate is good for health and can be used as a dietary supplement containing antioxidants to help your heart stay healthy. Other good news is that hot cocoa has some surprising health benefits as well. A hot mug of chocolate contains flavanols which give blood flow a natural boost. A test was done on elderly people who drank two cups of cocoa every day for a whole month. When the test was done it was discovered that the elderly who had impaired blood flow at the beginning of the test now had a definite increase in their blood flow and a better memory. So to improve your health prepare yourself some hot cocoa and drink two cups a day and you just might discover that it can keep the doctor away just like an apple a day. Do you drink hot chocolate? I drink hot chocolate in winter and I love to have a small piece of plain dark chocolate in the evening, while I watch the TV.
