I own a glue gun or maybe two. I cannot remember because I avoid them. I do not like pain, and they cause me pain. I manage to burn myself every time, even with the lo temp glue guns.
So why am I even thinking about glue guns?
Glue guns have become the topic because I saw one used in a different way last night.
People are peeling their crayons and putting them through a glue gun. Making interesting colorful designs, on canvas. They are calling it wall art.
This brings things a few questions:
1. Does it ruin the glue gun, can it be used with glue after this?
2. Can you do anything besides put random dots of color on your canvas?
3. How does the hot glue/crayon art hold up in extreme hot weather. Does it soften and drip off? If you rub against it when the weather is hot does it rub off on you.
So, what do you think of this art form, or of glue guns?
