What makes you happy?

It doesn't take much to make me happy, a seed growing in my garden, a plant bearing flowers or fruits, lush green grass, a squirrel, birds or butterflies can all make me happy.
Fluffy little clouds, rainbow in the sky and a gentle breeze blowing can put me in a great mood.
A call from my son/husband/friend during the day, a piece of crafting that turn out well can also bring me great joy.
This weekend I bought some veggie seeds.. I will be so happy to see them growing. I love to see the aubergines on the plants.
Life is full of happy moments for me.

@sofssu,There are a lot of things that make me elated,such as,I become very happy when I make someone else smile,when I somewhere find a great poem in my mother tongue,when I manage to interact here to my satisfaction,when I reach the small jungle at the outskirts of our hometown,when I enjoy a sound and deep sleep at least for six hours,when I find a book I have been looking for months and even years....There are so many things that make me forget all my problems.pains and sorrows.

It's all the small things in life in which brings me contentment and happiness. All of which you have mentioned. I can even go on to say, just sitting in the living room, watching a movie (that we perhaps watched 30 times already) with hubby makes me happy.

Oh we can. We find the old movies we like even though seen numerous times is better than movies they make now days.

@TexanTornado Agreed but I can never sit quietly and watch what I have already seen twenty times over.. I have the wandering leg syndrome.. Thankfully hubby and I aren't really the movie watching types.

I only realized that I've been taking clean, healthy air for granted since we're having haze problems here. Right now nothing would make me happier than to have fresh air to breathe.

@cahaya1983 Aww That is bad. I am glad that it is raining and the haze settles down a bit. I hope your children are protected from all the haze.

@cahaya1983 We never seem to appreciate these little things nature freely gives until they are gone or contaminated. Isn't that a sad state of affairs. I have a niece living in Malaysia who keeps complaining about the haze there.

@sofssu It just doesn't get any better, that's what's really frustrating. It rains every now and then so at least that's a good thing. I really can't wait until the haze goes away completely though.

@crazyhorseladycxThe sunlight filtering through the trees is magnificent. We where watch the sun peeking through the clouds its rays streaking through the sky downward at the Earth just the other day, it just made me stand in awe of the creator.
