What is your next travel destination?

Good-morning lovely people
I am sure many of you are already thinking about where their next trip will be. My next travel destination is India and I am planning to visit in November. I have been to India earlier this year too. But this time, I am traveling to cities that I have never been to. I'll be doing a road trip from Jaipur via Agra to Delhi, and then I will explore to northern part of India - the state of Jammu & Kashmir. I am already preparing myself for this upcoming adventure.
What is your next travel destination? And when are you planning to make it happen?

Hey that's awesome! Even I am travelling to Darjeeling this October to join a Basic Mountaineering Course at HMI ( Himalayan Mountaineering Institute )! Its a 28 days course and i'll be training in the lap of the Himalayan Range.
Make sure when your in J&K, you take a trip in one of those boats called Shiakaras. You'll love it there, its heaven on earth.

Thank you very much for your response. Yes, Shikara boat ride is in my plan already. I will be visiting Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam.
How far is Darjeeling from these places? I have heard a lot about Darjeeling. I will surely visit it someday.

Dear Kchitij, while in Darjeeling, try to visit Sandakfu, Lepchajagat, Falut, Lava and Lolegaon. These are lesser known tourist spots but more beautiful than Darjeeling.

@excellence7 Darjeeling is in West Bengal. Acc to your road trip plan, you are going from West India to North India, Darjeeling is in the East so it will be quite a travel ( unless of course you get a flight ). But now that you have told me your trip plans, it seems pretty tight! You're getting all the good spots so thats a good thing, you can try to visit Darjeeling sometime later if you want, as it is you still have a lot of India to see

I have been pondering over this for the past few days, but still have no definite plans. My original plan was to visit Pisa around this time, but the flights are still quite expensive and I have an appointment on Wednesday, so I had to abolish that idea.
I have been giving serious consideration to Egypt, but nothing is definite yet.

@excellence7 The UK government website warns us about travelling to Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Egypt and many more destinations, but I usually ignore such warnings. This year I have been to Tunisia twice and Turkey 4 times.
I see no logic in avoiding a country due to terrorist activities that are quite rare. We have had incidents in England, but the government does not advise me to emigrate.

@Asylum We think alike then. Let me share something with you. Some days back, I was telling to a friend that I want to visit Afghanistan. I know it is often portrayed as the 'forbidden' place but I still want to be there, and bring stories few will have to tell one day. About Egypt, I hope that I manage to make it someday.

OH lovely you will have a great time in India I loved it there. I am off to Thailand in November just for around 10 days but although it was supposed to be for R&R it does not look like I shall get that much as I have planned to do many things! Have a great trip!
