New and Old Souls, the Afterlife, and Population

A Soul in this discussion represents an energy signature possessed by a living human, creature, plant, microbe, etc. All living things have energy in one form or another. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, so it changes form from one container to the next. In terms of life, that energy has a signature that keeps it bound to a particular container. When the energy signature no longer is compatible with its current container it can upgrade to a new level. New Soul: When a soul upgrades to a new container it is a 'new' soul to that container. In reference to humanity, a soul that was formerly an animal/plant/whatever soul is upgraded to the human container. Anytime a soul is 'reborn' as a new soul, previous knowledge of existence is wiped out, because the memory system in the former body is different from the current body. Old Soul: When a soul of a human/animal/plant/etc is recycled back into the same type of container. A New Soul that reincarnates into another body could be called an Old Soul, but generally isn't adapted to the body yet and retains a New Soul status for a while. Old Souls have a higher capacity and are able to process different aspects of the world that wasn't visible before. Afterlife: A possible destination for the soul after death. Heaven is one of the options, but so is spirit form (ghost) and attachment (possession) of people and objects. There are multiple realms. Population: The number of individuals belonging to a single species. Pretty straight forward. A population is very important when it comes to the number of New vs Old Souls in the species. When it gets large, like it is now, it pulls in many new souls. When it is small and contained, there is a greater number of recycled souls in that limited population. Religion impacts New Souls greater than Old Souls. Religion is a sense of direction and the New Soul can latch onto that and feel safe and guided. Spirituality or even a sense of knowledge is more important to an Old Soul, who has been around before. A large number of atheists are Old Souls, they just can't remember being here before. Actually spiritual memory is a capacity issue, and there are not many souls that remember from one incarnation to the next, unless it's at a very early age. The Afterlife is a stopping point for all sorts of New Souls and pulls them out of the equation, which pulls more souls from other life into the species. All those extinctions that happen worldwide? That's actually part of the cycle. That form of life is flowing into the next aspect of life and working up the ladder, eventually becoming human. Back to population and Old Souls, the smaller the population, the smarter the species. More knowledge and expertise flows from one life to the next, and the civilization benefits, even overcoming impossible odds. Some isolated populations of humans in the past experienced mental gain from these limited populations and expanded spiritually. Memory retention is the aspect of a learned Old Soul. There are a few humans alive today that are celebrated for their memory retention after death. Later we'll discuss what it means for the world when the balance gets a little too off, like it is now.

So, the key to solving population growth is to stop growing plants, kill all the insects, etc. It's very imaginative, but I don't think the math adds up. Every soul is a unique creation, and mine isn't being recycled. Keeping it in this earthly container until it is redeemed.

Haha, population growth happens on its own, destroying the other containers does stop one from moving forward.

Yes, different realities and other worlds. Certainly the multiverse attributes to this.

Isn't that the joy of it? Of course, it ends when we run out of containers. We have to get to a higher plane of existence.

@vandana7 It's fine if you are able to be something awesome in the end. I only talk about it because I want to get back to where the human race was thousands of years ago!

Most people can't see it that way. My only basis for the transition is when I went through it.
