Iron infusion was cancelled for today!

I am sort of happy they called me last night to tell me they have cancelled my appointment. Yes, I need to iron but again my body doesn't really seem to like me when I get it done. So I usually come home feeling dizzy, tired, sick, and just lay here for hours, then a few days later feeling off.
They explained they had a shortage of iron, which I am not sad about!. I can't believe that the one bottle I get is $300 and I go every 4 -6 months for 2 bottles. Thank god for OHIP coverage or else I wouldn't be getting anything.

Iron infusion? I guess iron pills or blood transfusions do not work in your case?

No, they do not work for me. I have tried that for many years with basically no results.
