wow, that's unfortunate. I remember liking this guy for two whole years, and he never even knew or understood. Later I came to know he was crushing on my best friend!
I was so astonished, but thankfully by that time I'd gotten over it.
So my best friend is still my best friend!

You probably choose the wrong guy or you tell a lot about your friend to your guy or you go and meet your guy with your friend?
If someone says that he wants your help in dating your close friend, it is unfair - just kick him, he does not deserve you.
