Pumpkin Patch Yesterday

I wasn't online yesterday because I had to go 2 hours into South Dakota for some tests and to see an oncologist. I left here at 6:30 so I would be there there my 9:30 and even though I arrived at 9:15 I still have to wait until 10 for the testing to be done. Luckily the tiny spot of cancer left on my lung has not grown any so that is a good sign. Now I don't have to go back for another 6 months. Lots of blood work and a CT Scan then have to find places to go until my doctors appointment at 3:30. It made it a long and tiring day but I went into a kohl's dress store, walmart for some paper products and another store I forget the name of and stopped at a Sonic for a drink. Found a place to have a meal also it was Cracker Barrel and they have the best chicken and dumplings ever. On the way home there was a bad accident and it did hold us up somewhat. Also we saw the Pumpkin Patch which is the picture I have posted of it. Today I am just tring to catch up. Anyway came home and was kissed so much by my dogs and they miss me when I am gone but had another person here to look after them.

Chivalrous soul! It moves you as well when you see some one offer his/her seat to women who have to stand.

I once saw some one fellow offer his seat to a woman on a six hour bus journey, for almost half the journey length. I felt very lousy for not being able to do what he did.

That is great news to hear. I know traffic well enough to know how annoying it is. Well, your dogs missed you very much and they gave you a great welcome home. But, I don't see a picture of the Pumpkin patch.

I have tried putting the picture up a number of times but for some reason it won't go in, sorry as it is really a pumpkin patch. There was a lot more traffic then what we are now used to.

Glad to hear the good news that the spot hasn't grown any. It sure does look like a long tiring day but atleast you don't have to do that every day. I have to drive over an hour to see my specialist also but glad it's only once every 3 months and not ever day as well. Hope you get some rest and enjoy your day

We have a pumpkin patch in our community. When I worked as a school bus driver, we would take several of the elementary school students on field trips there to get a pumpkin and the folks that own the pumpkin patch gave a little agricultural education to them. Was always a fun day! Good news for you on the cancer remission, that is always positive reinforcement!Always fun to go shopping lift your spirits.

That sounds like that would have been a great trip for the school children to go on and also for you. Positive reinforcement for sure and fun just looking around and shopping.
